Eleven people were arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old child in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district. The incident took place Thursday night in a private boarding school in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. The prime accused in the case is a peon of the school. Maharashtra Director General of Police Satish Mathur said that apart from the prime accused, other staff members who knew about the alleged rape but failed to report it were also arrested, adding that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the incident. A total of 13 people have been booked and search is on for two. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also said that a female IAS officer will investigate the case.
