Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections polls due in 2017, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said the Ram temple is the part of BJP 2014 manifesto, added that it is the party’s obligation to the people to deliver the promise. “The Ram issue is a part of our manifesto in 2014, how can we run away from it? We have to deliver,” Swamy told reporters. Swamy said that the matter cannot be resolved forcibly, but the Supreme Court needs to take some action as the matter is pending from past six years.
