Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the Indian armed forces calling them an example of humanity. PM Modi, who was speaking in Bhopal after inaugurating the newly built war memorial Shaurya Samarak, highlighted the army’s role during Kashmir floods. Giving credit to the armed forces and the Defence Minister, PM Modi reiterated how they don’t speak, but act. He called on people to respect and applaud the security forces whenever they see them. The prime minister also hit out at the previous UPA government with regard to One Rank One Pension, claiming that the previous government made empty promised, while his government delivered on all their promises.
