Now Enjoy Elephant Safari At Bengal Wildlife Safari Park

Two elephants, Sabitri and Chanchal, rescued from Olympic Circus in Durgapur, will be an addition to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s dream project ‘Bengal Wildlife Safari Park’. The park authorities have planned to start an elephant safari for the tourists.

Bengal safari was set up over 700 acres of forest land, which is just 10km from Siliguri under Jalpaiguri district. The park is home to various animals, including sambar deer, barking deer, wild boars, jungle fowl, jungle cats and birds. A rhino and bisons would be brought in this park very soon.
