Kashmir: Terrorist Attack Army Convoy In Handwara, Three Soldiers Injured

Three soldiers were injured after a group of terrorists attacked an Army convoy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara town in Kupwara district Wednesday morning.

The army has launched a search operation to trace the militants. According to reports the militants attacked the convoy on its way from Kupwara to Baramulla.

The militants open fired at the bus carrying the convoy wherein three soldiers sustained bullet injuries. However, the militants managed to flee from the area after the attack and a search operation is underway to catch hold of them.

Earlier, on August 17 in a similar incident, three including two soldiers and a policeman were killed in a militant attack on the national highway at Khawjabagh Baramulla.
