FTII Introduces Mandatory Affidavit To Maintain ‘Decency And Decorum’ On Campus

The Film and Television Institute of India has made it mandatory for all its new students to submit a ‘general conduct’ affidavit that asks them to maintain decency and decorum on the campus and bars them from insulting the faculty members. The Students union body said that the administration has taken this decision to instill fear among new students. In the past, students at FTII had protested in large numbers against the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the chairman.
