Former Calcutta HC Judge CS Karnan Arrested From Coimbatore

Karnan, who had been evading arrest since the May 9 Supreme Court order, was picked up Tuesday night by Kolkata Police from a private resort at Malumichampatti, about six km from Coimbatore, where he was staying for the past few days. Karnan, who earned the dubious distinction of being the first sitting high court judge to be awarded a jail term by the apex court, had retired from service on June 12 as a fugitive.

What he had done to Tamil Nadu is to bring shame with his criminal act of absconding, bring disrepute to his own community and instead of showing authority as a Calcutta HIGH Court Judge he made his own black mark at the end of his retired life which is unforgettable during his life time and none will respect him hereafter. !!!
