Feminism | How India Fared In It’s Gender Battles In 2017

Merriam-Webster declared “Feminism” as the word of the year 2017. It was a great win as it beat the word “complicit” to make it the most searched for word on the website. As “silence breakers” are being lauded globally for speaking up against harassment, let’s also take a look at some of the battles our country fought around gender this year.

Such confused thinking and fear expressed by male and female commentators here. It surely is not women's sole goal to be attractive to men. How is it that such people completely lack any understanding of history and of course, feminism? Feminists are mothers, leaders, teachers, superheroes, wives, daughters, presidents, and everything between, above, and below. Unwanted teenage pregnancies don't happen because of feminism--they happen from ignorance. If you teach your daughters feminism, they will know better how to navigate the world and protect themselves. Feminism is about justice--every human being should be concerned with that.

Women do deserve opportunities but within their natural physical and mental make up.With their tirade to be equal to men, women eventually will be unattractive to men. Nature has made women a true symbol of grace, kindness, tolerance and love. Women are naturally made to be better half of men,not the whole of men. Ultimately marriages as ins utions will be destroyed with increasing diverse and leaving children without care and love Look at how in western countries, children are drawn for vices like drugs, murders ! Why? because they are unknowingly neglected by their mothers.

Feminism seems to have a big social problem. If this continues we will soon have teen age mothers, wayward children, Out of wedlock children, barrenness in women, loss of love between spouses, loneliness in old age, more divorces, single mothers and so on.
