When the entire country is scrambling outside ATMs for cash, St. Martin Syro-Malabar Church at Thevakkal in Kochi threw open its donation boxes to the public serving them with low denomination notes. The Church committee had convened a meeting to discuss to the issue of unavailability of low denomination notes as the believers shared their grievance with the Vikar of the church. It is then the church committee decided to open the cash box attached to the church for the public.
