Demonetisation: Banks Provide New Rs 500 Notes

The big struggle these days is to find a working ATM. That will be the first win for the average citizen before he/she starts queuing up and hoping that the cash holds till he ends up in front of the machine. If social media posts are anything to go by, a lot of people have been spending their time over the past few days to find an ATM with cash so that they can line up to withdraw money that works.

mamata is right. roll back is the only option. the economy could collapse in a few days if cash is not made available immediately to replace the old currency. The country is headed for a recession. mive unemployment businesses shut down construction shut down etc etc.

While queues in front of banks are getting shorter, why not draw up to Rs.24000 from bank, instead of Rs.2000 or so from ATMs ?

Good news and if ATMs can provide such relief then the queue will vanish and then normalcy will return with cash available at ATMs for their own personal needs. Do ensure it is available at all counters of ATM or else once again chaos will be created and utter confusion will haunt the society !!!
