CBFC Issues ‘A’ Certificate To ‘Udta Punjab’

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Wednesday issued an ‘A’ certificate to the Shahid Kapoor starrer movie ‘Udta Punjab’ with the deletion of one scene and a modified disclaimer. CBFC Chief Pahlaj Nihalani said that they have been asked to produce the certificate within 48 hours and from their end it was ready, but due to producer’s negligence the procedure got late. He also said that the CBFC knows its work and does it quite sincerely. Meanwhile, Co-Producer, Aman Gill, said that they are releasing the film all over India on this coming Friday. He added that they have come to collect the certificate and now have got permission to release the film all over India.
