A day after 24 Maoists were killed in one of the biggest such operations, security forces killed four more Naxals in a fresh encounter in the same area of Malkangiri. Police officials said the encounter took place between 6 and 7 am. Retreating Greyhound forces came under firing and fired back, they said. The four dead are yet to be identified while a fifth Maoist escaped with his INSAS rifle.
