Bathinda Dancer Murder: Video Showing Accused Opening Fire At Marriage

A 22-year-old dancer was shot dead on stage allegedly by a drunk man after he was not allowed to dance with her troupe in Punjab’s Bathinda. The incident happened on Saturday night during the marriage function of a local commission agent’s son in Maur where the deceased, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, was performing with her dance troupe.  All four people, connected with the murder of dancer Kulwinder Kaur, have been arrested by the Bathinda police. Of them, Lucky Goyal alias Billa and Sanjay Goyal were arrested for murder while Jagsir Singh, owner of the Aashirwaad marriage palace, the wedding venue, and Narinder Kumar, father of groom Varun Kumar, were booked under Section 188 IPC, disobedience to order duly promulgated by a civil servant. Jagsir and Narinder were granted bail as the offence is bailable.
