Dinesh Singh On 4 Year UG Programme, Cut-off Marks & Ramayanas Essay

Dinesh Singh’s five-year term as the Delhi University vice-chancellor ended on October 28. His has been a controversial tenure, especially with regard to the four year undergraduate programme (FYUP), which he was accused of implementing undemocratically. The new government in 2014 rolled back the FYUP, and served Singh a showcause notice — he remains the only VC in DU’s 93-year-old history to be issued such a notice.
