Paradise Papers: What The Investigation Reveals About The Indian Corporates In Secret Tax Havens

The biggest leak ever of financial data revealed names of 714 Indians in the tally. Among the 180 countries represented in the data, India ranks 19th in terms of the number of names. The Indian Express team investigated records for over 100 Indian names and entities over a period of 10 months. A bulk of the records investigated are from Bermuda law firm Appleby. Unlike Panama Papers, these leaks are more about mega corporates than individual players and how they took advantage of tax havens.

The Indian corporate is looting the nation.. at one side evading tax and at another side bankrupting Nationalised Banks by not returning the loans taken and write off as NPAs. More than the Indian Government, the honest people of this country should shun those individuals and companies like the Amithab Bachans. What a shame!

Disgusting India. Majority of Bigwigs are hiding their money meant for betterment of the country and people. Either through off shore banking or nexus. Hindustan times group, Hindujas, Bachan, that Zee guy with dumbfound followers who believe he will show the way to prosperity are fundamentally chindi CHORS. They control the media in India by focusing their attention and deflection to US, Canada and UK Chors instead at themselves. Pathetic.......
