Special CBI Judge O P Saini allowed Raja’s plea after the CBI did not oppose it, and fixed the matter for July 1 for commencement of recording of defence.
The special CBI court set April 30 for taking cognizance of the case.
Swamy told Special CBI Judge O P Saini that he had already received some documents while he would soon get more material to press.

The BJP alleged foul play in the death of A M Sadhick Batcha,a close aide of former Telecom Minister A Raja,and demanded a CBI probe into it.
The Central Bureau of Investigation informed the Supreme Court that it would file the chargesheet against former telecom minister A Raja.
This seizure was made on December 8,2010 before the role of Batcha as an alleged frontman emerged.
