The Gujarat High Court on Monday issued notices to the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team and state government on a petition filed by the wife of a Naroda Patiya riots’ convict Navab Kalu Harisingh Rathod who is serving a life sentence.
The trial court had in August 2012 awarded life imprisonment to Kodnani, Bajrang Dal leader Babu Bajrangi and 29 others for Naroda Patiya incident.
Kodnani has filed the petition challenging the February 8 order of the Gujarat High Court.
