Tests were conducted by the IAF, which will be the first service to induct the Akash missiles in its inventory.

Missile,which has a strike range of 25 km with warhead of 60 kgs,went through a user trial on May 24.
The launch will boost India’s air defence shield and re-validating operational efficacy.
