Arun Prajapati is a TV anchor. Or, rather, he is trying very hard to be one. But nothing goes right for him. He gets fired from his job. His girl is in danger of going over to his rival. His father has not one good word to say to him.  Every other minute, AP is railing at God, telling him what a no-good, no-account person He is.

And then one day, AP’s (Salman) life changes. God (Amitabh) pulls him up to heaven, and offers him His job. You do it for ten days, booms Bhagwaan in a smooth baritone, and I will see how you go. Mayhem ensues, of course. The Celestial One, in a pristine white suit, has to ride to the rescue.

God Tussi Great Ho is both predictable and pedestrian, but manages to keep us amused intermittently. Salman comes up with some bits of inspired lunacy, which nearly match his brother, Sohail’s, act. Both are competent comics. And Amitabh gets to deliver a little lecture on morality and togetherness.
