MCOCA slapped on Malegaon accused

Mumbai: : The two accused arrested in connection with the Malegaon blasts were on Friday booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act following charges that they had links with global Terror outfits.

Noor-ul-Huda Shamsuddoha (23) and Shabbir Ahmed Masihullah alias Shabbir Batterywala (36) were produced on Friday before Special Judge Mrudula Bhatkar, who remanded them to police custody till November 16. This is the first time that MCOCA has been applied in the case.

Shamsuddoha and Masihullah were arrested on October 30 and November 2 respectively.
