If India’s dismal showing in the Rio 2016 Olympics wasn’t already bothering people and leaving many hearts broken, it just got worse. Saina Nehwal lost her second group stage encounter 18-21, 19-21 to World No 61 Ukraine’s Maria Ulitina to crash out of the competition.
India experienced another set back at the Rio 2016 Olympics after the world no. 5 Saina Nehwal lost to Ukrain’s Maria Ulitina 18-21, 19-21 to crash out of the competition. Saina sent a drop shot into the net that resulted in her defeat at the Summer Games. World No.61 Ulitina caused a huge upset registering a 21-18, 21-19 win against the World No.5 and 2012 London Games bronze medalist Saina.
The pundits and experts from all around reacted on the shocking defeat of the Indian shuttler.
This wasn’t @NSaina playing. Such tragedy to come so far and be so handicapped. Waiting to hear what it was.

Saina’s ouster is very disappointing…but I’m sure that she’s 100 times more disappointed than us. Sun will rise again & she’ll shine again
