Sri Lanka embark on their first full tour of India since 2009. It starts with a three match Test series with the first Test being played on November 16, 2017. The tour will consist of a three-Test series followed by an ODI and T20 series of as many matches. The last match will be played on December 24, 2017. As far as Test matches are concerned, Sri Lanka will be a confident lot coming into the series. They clinched a 2-0 series win over Pakistan in the UAE before this, thus becoming the first team to beat Pakistan since they shifted their home base in 2009. But India had humbled Sri Lanka in their own backyard in a full tour before that, winning the Tests, ODIs and T20Is and inflicting a 10-0 washout. This coupled with India’s dominant form at home means that the hosts are the overwhelming favourites to find success in this tour.
