Australia Tour of India 2017

India and Australia will play a five-match one-day international series and three-match T20 international series beginning September 17. The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the schedule for the Australia series on Thursday. The two teams had played a four-match Test series in February and March earlier this year but that tour did not have any limited overs’ game.

India won the Test series 2-1 but now the teams will lock horns in the shorter formats of the game. The first ODI will be played on September 17 in Chennai. The teams will then travel to Kolkata for the second ODI but only after a three-day break.

The third game of the series will be played in Indore on September 24 before the teams move to Bangalore for the fourth and penultimate one-day international to be played on September 28. The fifth and final ODI of the series will be played in Nagpur on October 1.

After finishing the ODI series, the two teams will have a five-day break before the start of the T20 international series which will have three matches. The first of the three will be played in Ranchi on October 7. The second match of the series will be played on October 10 in Guwahati, which will host its first ever T20I. The final T20 international of the series will be played in Hyderabad on October 12.
