India captain Virat Kohli was presented with the ICC Test Championship Mace for leading his team to the top of the Test Rankings. The mace was presented by former India captain and ICC Cricket Hall of Famer Sunil Gavaskar at a ceremony following the team’s sublime 321 run win against New Zealand in Indore that also ensured a 3-0 whitewash.
India's Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma shared a photo on Instagram with the ICC Test championship mace. Rahane scored his career best highest score of 188 while Rohit Sharma answered his critics with three half-centuries on the trot in the New Zealand Test series.
After whitewashing the series against New Zealand, India's Test captain Virat Kohli is back home and spending time with his dog. Kohli who became first Indian captain to score two double Test hundred in one year, posted a photo of him with his pet which had a caption saying "Love being lazy at home with this naughty dynamite. unconditional love"
R Ashwin, who is the first bowler to have 220 Test wickets in 39 Test matches, clicked a photo with Virat Kohli and credited the Delhi player with how much of an inspiration he has been to him.
India Test opener Murali Vijay who had a couple of half-centuries, shared a photo on his instragram, where the right handed batsman is holding the ICC Test championship mace. "Revelling Under the shadow of the tricolour... Admiring the Mace ..." was Vijay's caption.

It was a sight of delight for Indian fans as Ajinkya Rahane shared a photo of him with teammate and test captain Virat Kohli. Rahane, who is seen holding the ICC Test mace, was delighted as India regained Test top spot from its arch-rival Pakistan.
