A private bus has plunged off a mountain road into a deep gorge in Kashmir, killing 17 people and injuring 30 others, police said.

The injured were hospitalized early Tuesday, some with serious injuries. The bus was traveling overnight from Jammu to Srinagar, police officer Rajesh Kumar said. (Source: PTI)
