Hit: For the trailer launch of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone was seen channelising some major Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) vibes in an all-black look. Even though the outfit was risqué, the cut-out body suit from La Senza accentuated her curves really well. The mesh panel leggings added an element of hotness to the already smouldering look. A sleek, centre-parting ponytail, a black choker and Zara boots complemented the outfit. Leading make-up and hair artist Daniel Bauer gave her a defined face with sharp winged eyeliner and bold brows. (Source: Instagram/Shaleen Nathani)

Hit: Anushka Sharma picked a black Sabyasachi ensemble which was simple yet beautiful. We loved the skirt with the statement golden embroidery on it. Celebrity stylist Alliaa Al Rufai did a good job here by complementing it with eye-catching jewellery from Kishandas For Sabyasachi with emerald and gold work. Make-up-wise, her look was perfect as Daniel Bauer went for dramatic smokey eyes, nude lips and defined brows. Sleek, centre-parting hair, tucked away neatly behind the ears, was all that was needed to round out the look and we are happy with the choice. (Source: Alliaa Al Rufai)

Hit: Amy Jackson kept it simple in an ensemble from Rimple & Harpreet Narula. The white anarkali dress with the interesting neckline and floral embroidery on the bodice and sleeves are just gorgeous. Kohled eyes, a dark lip shade, a pair of statement earrings and nude heels rounded out the look. Her hair game was on point too with a sleek low bun. (Source: Instagram/Amy Jackson)

Hit: For a recent event, Huma Qureshi was seen in a long-short sleeveless dress and a light lemon yellow floor-length jacket from Ritika Mirchandani. We can’t get over how lovely the actress looked! The ensemble is just perfect for this season with the right amount of embellishments and embroidery on the jacket. Celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra paired it well with silver kohlapuris and a stunning diamond set from PC Jewellers. Make-up artist and hairstylist Rolika gave her a more natural look with kohl-rimmed eyes and shiny peachish-brown lips. Perfect for day wear, we say. (Source: Instagram/Sanjana Batra)

Hit: Recently, Parineeti Chopra was seen draped in a traditional sari from Jade by Monica & Karishma. Celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra complemented the look with traditional temple-style jewellery and gold jhumkas. Her make-up and hair was perfect too, as she matched the pink of her lip shade to that of her sari and went with winged eyeliner and a bindi to define her look. A braided updo with a gajra rounded it off. We do believe this might just be the first time Chopra has been seen in this avatar, and we love it. If she goes the traditional way more often, we at least won’t be complaining! (Source: Instagram/Sanjana Batra)

Hit: Shilpa Shetty went all out with a super bright number from Priyal Prakash. The chevron printed lehenga added spark to the otherwise boring outfit. She chose a choker from Purab Paschim and a bracelet and rings from Anmol Jewellers to complement the look. She looked pretty. (Source: Instagram/Sanjana Batra)

Hit: For an appearance on Bigg Boss Season 10, Deepika Padukone picked a gorgeous BalmainxH&M gold embellished dress with long sleeves. Celebrity stylist Shaleen Nathani paired it with a pair of black Sergio Rossi thigh-high boots. It’s not like we haven’t seen this look earlier. Last October, we spotted it on Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian’s, at the Balmain show in New York, but even Padukone seemed to do it justice. Given that the mini itself is so gorgeous, the sleek ponytail, the winged eyeliner and the matte lips were just perfect. (Source: Instagram/Shaleen Nathani)

Hit and miss: Styled by celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra, Prachi Desai looked lovely in a Nicolas Jebran dress and jewellery from Anmol Jewellers. However, a different pair of heels would have looked much better on her. (Source: Instagram/Sanjana Batra)

Hit: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked like a goddess in a LaBourjoisie gown and jewellery from Jaipur Jewels. We are glad that the actress kept the rest of her look simple with a nice dewy sheen and a blush of soft pink on her lips. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Dia Mirza was spotted in a beautiful gown with blue and pink floral embroidery from Varun Bahl’s Spring 2016 collection. The actress looked lovely with the dewy make-up and braided updo. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Cocktail actress Diana Penty was seen in a double-toned pastel gown which she paired with earrings from Harsh Sagar. With hair in a top knot, she finished the look with a coral lip shade. We think the bright hue threw the look off proportion. Nude lips would have looked better here. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Huma Qureshi has been sporting a lot of Indian wear these days. For the opening night of MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, the actress picked a lehenga from Payal Singhal. We are not a big fan of the outfit – the broad border looked a little weird. Moreover. the skirt did not complement the brocade blouse and the sheer caplet did not make a sweeping and lasting impression. Even her make-up did not impress us much. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Jacqueline Fernandez attended the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival opening ceremony wearing an Anamika Khanna fusion sari which featured a cape. We feel the look was a little odd and there was just too much going on right here. The make-up was lovely with the winged eyeliner and even hair hairdo with a dramatic side braid but not for this outfit. It just contrasted with the traditional choker. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Styled by Mohit Rai, Kajol looked elegant in a creation by Nikhil Thampi and jewellery from Nirav Modi. (Source: Instagram/Mohit Rai)

Hit: Kalki Koechlin picked a black column long sleeve gown from Shift by Nimish Shah which she paired with jewellery from Misho. The look was simple but it worked its magic, especially with the red lips and updo. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Richa Chadda picked a black maxi by Huemn to wear to the opening night of MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. We know she is a talented actress but her fashion sense is not as exceptional as her acting prowess. The dress was nothing extraordinary and we can’t get our head around that choice of headband at all. (Source: Varinder Chawla)
