At her sister Ahana's wedding functions, Bollywood actress Esha Deol stood out mainly because of the style statement she made through her very fashionable slings supporting her injured arm. Apart from, Esha, Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan had too opted for a stylish cast to cover his injuries. With designer slings and casts becoming popular choice to cover an injury, we take a look at celebs who were fashionable when injured.

The actor, who is no stranger to injuries, also made to news in 2009, when he walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra sporting a black and gold sling on his left arm, especially designed for him. SRK, who had then undergone a surgery to repair a tear in his shoulder muscle, had said then that he was about to opt out of the show, but the sling changed his mind adding that Manish Malhotra is the world's best sling designer! Mariah arrived at various award functions in line with the fashion and not letting the injury be a dampner for her overall look. While certain celebrities glam up their injuries and include them in their accessories some prefer to keep the bandages under the wraps!
Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi, who had sprained her wrist last year, did not bother for a fashionable sling or cast at the screening of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. Shabana Azmi's injury was also incorporated in Anil Kapoor's TV series '24' and again minus decoration.
Last year, 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart had cut her foot on glass two days before the prestigious Oscar ceremony. However, that did not stop the actress to turn up at the event and look her best. Kirsten opted to hide her injury under the dress rather decorate it! We wish she too had opted for decorated support sticks than the regular ones. (AP)
