Bollywood hunk Ranveer Singh turns 29 today (July 6). The actor has carved a special place for himself in the industry with his flamboyant nature, back-to-back hits and impeccable sense of humour. Ranveer Singh made his Bollywood debut as a Delhi University student in Yash Raj Film's 'Band Baaja Baraat' (2010) opposite Anushka Sharma. The film was a surprise hit and Ranveer was warmly received by audience and critics alike.
He was next seen in YRF's 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' (2011) as the dashing conman again with Anushka Sharma. The film also marked the Bollywood debut of Parineeti Chopra. Ranveer was again lauded for his performance.
In the same year Ranveer Singh bagged his meatiest project and played modern day Romeo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram-Leela' opposite Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh was next seen with Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in YRF's 'Gunday' (2014). The actor made quite a name for himself. Both the actors were well received for their portrayal of immigrant 'gunday' in Kolkata.
Soon after 'Gunday', Ranveer Singh made headlines for his peppy advertisement for a condom brand. The actor turned rapper for the same as he endorsed the product in an absolutely new way. While one section was not very receptive for Ranveer's decision, many lauded the actor's strong step and his style too.
