Even as MS Dhoni The Untold Story is ready to make a ton at the box office, a new challenger is heading towards the pitch in form of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's Mirzya. Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni biopic has earned a lot of accolades and has already made over Rs 83 crore till Tuesday at the box office. With the film getting good footfalls even on weekdays, it seems MS Dhoni film will easily enter the Rs 100-crore club. However, this Friday will see the release of two films -- Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya and the horror comedy Tutak Tutak Tutiya starring Sonu Sood, Prabhu Deva and Tamannah Bhatia. Mirzya marks the debut of Anil Kapoor's son, Harshvardhan.

Mirzya is a love story which will take place in two time zones. Based on the love story of Mirza Sahibaan, it is both contemporary and visceral. The film has already been seen by Bollywood celebs and good word has been pouring in. Directed by Mehra who has earlier given us films such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Rang De Basanti, the film is being described as "poetry in motion". The film is expensive, reportedly made at a cost of about Rs 35 crore. It has been shot in stunning locales and the music is being appreciated. However, the big question is: Can the film stop the Dhoni juggernaut?
