Bollywood’s latest BFFs – Priyanka-Deepika, Sonam-Jacqueline

Though it's been said time and again that actresses can never be friends and all relationships in the industry are mostly pretentious and fake, we found that a handful of youngsters like Ranbir- Ayan, Priyanka- Deepika, Alia-Parineeti - who beg to differ. Here's a look at some of the besties in B-Town.

Priyanka Chopra – Deepika Padukone: They've both got a fantastic mix of beauty and brains. Though they're contemporaries, both Deepika and Priyanka are known to share a deep friendship, atleast on cameras. The duo appeared on the sets of Karan Johar's talk show and set the couch on fire with their camederie.

Sonam Kapoor – Jacqueline Fernandez: Bollywood beauties Jacqueline and Sonam became friends when the Sri Lankan beauty was working with Sonam's father Anil Kapoor in 'Race 2'. The girls are known to spend a lot of time together, partying and chilling at each other's houses. Jacqueline also attends the festive occasions at the Kapoor residence.

Alia Bhatt - Parineeti Chopra: Parineeti and Alia may not have been spotted partying together and having slumber parties. But the Gen Y gals are surely friends, more than competitors. Both Alia and Parineeti appeared on Karan Johar’s show and got along like a house on fire.

Shilpa Shetty - Bipasha Basu: Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu are not exactly best friends. However, they have certainly become close and are spending more time together owning to the fact that Bipasha's beau Harman Baweja appeared in Shilpa's home production 'Dishkiyaoon'. Before the film's release, Bipasha-Harman and Shilpa-Raj were spotted going for quite a few dinners together. And the dinners still continue.

Ranveer Singh - Arjun Kapoor : This hunky duo who co-starred in 'Gunday' seemed the perfect picture of bromance when they graced Karan Johar's couch together. Not only did they seem to get along just fine but also had a ball doing so. However, some say this friendship may have been just for film promotional purposes. But Arjun Kapoor is currently shooting an ad film with Ranveer and the two keep praising each other on Twitter.

Alia Bhatt - Varun Dhawan - Sidharth Malhotra: Bollywood heartthrobs Varun and Sidharth shared the screen along with new sweetheart on the block Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year'. The youngsters apparently had a blast shooting together and are known to be good friends. However, rumours of Alia being interested in both the boys may put a dampner on this friendship. The trio has always been spotted partying together and even step out to watch each other's movies.

Ranbir Kapoor - Ayan Mukerji: Ever since their first hit together, 'Wake Up.Sid', Ranbir and Ayan made it to the special bromance list. Ayan has gone on record to say that he counts on Ranbir just like he'd count on his father. The duo is often spotted going out to dinners and movie shows. Being the best friend, Ayan has also gracefully accepted all the drama that Ranbir brings with him thanks to his well-known casanova image.

Madhuri Dixit - Juhi Chawla: Joining Gen-Y on the BFF wagon are actresses Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla. Though the ladies were contemporaries, the friendship is a new development that took place ever since they co-starred in ‘Gulaab Gang’. Juhi even admitted that she did the film only because Madhuri was in it.
