Award season is the time for B-Town celebrities to strut their best on the red carpet. With most of our actresses opting for designer gowns, there are still a few who embrace the tradition of donning desi creations for the grand affairs. A few absolutely ace their look, while some aren't that lucky. Here’s a look at the Bollywood Beauties who were at the top of their game, when it came to style, this Award Season.
Deepika Padukone: It's no surprise that Bollywood's reigning queen Deepika definitely made it to the list. For the 20th Life OK Screen Awards, the actress impressed in a stunning dark coloured Alexander McQueen gown with a gold high-collared neck. Dark lip-colour and danglers made the whole look stand out.
Deepika Padukone once again proved her fashion sense when she picked a lovely blue Shehlaa lengha with a lace choli blouse for the Star Guild Awards.
Deepika was a golden girl in her sheer embellished Gaurav Gupta gown at a recent award show. Side-swept hair and red lip finished out her look.

Sonakshi Sinha: 'Lootera' beauty Sonakshi Sinha was the epitome of glamour as she took to the red carpet in a nude coloured silver shimmery Amit GT gown that absolutely flattered her figure at the Screen Awards 2014. The actress accessorised her look with a Pinky Saraf clutch, pink lips and soft waves.
She further stirred things up a bit when she made a red carpet appearance looking chic in a belted Rachel Roy jumpsuit at the Star Guild Awards. She looked beautiful, wearing her hair up, accessorized with Atelier Mon earrings and a House of Chic ring and spiked peep toes by Steve Madden.
Another winner for the actress was the midnight blue Gauri and Nainika gown that Sonakshi wore to the GiMA Awards.
Kareena Kapoor Khan: Kareena Kapoor Khan made heads turn on the red carpet at the Star Guild Awards as she posed in a stunning shimmery Namrata Joshipura gown with a gold pattern on the side. Bright red lips and black strap sandals finished her look.
Jacqueline Fernandez: Pretty girl Jacqueline Fernandez picked a beautiful gold and beige Anand Kabra sari with a long gold blouse, which made the look a whole lot more interesting. The actress let her hair down and carried a gold clutch, which complimented the outfit.
Kalki Koechlin: 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' actress Kalki Koechlin stunned in a yellow and black silk sari by Nikhil Thampi with a sheer lace bottom at the Screen Awards 2014. A belt, beautiful gold jewellery by Amrapali and black pumps finished off her look.
For her second appearance at a nominations bash, Kalki picked an elegant black Gaurav Gupta gown. A side hair-do and natural makeup worked well.
Next, Kalki Koechlin opted for a beautiful black and gold creation by Sabyasachi.
Sonam Kapoor: The 'Raanjhanaa' actress, who has been missing from award shows this year, was an all-time winner on the red carpet in a dark blue Anushka Khanna gown at a nomination bash. A braided updo and ankle-strapped sandals worked well with her look.
Bipasha Basu: Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu decided to go the traditional route in a midnight blue floor-length anarkali by Manish Malhotra. The actress had her hair styled in a pin-up and donned a signature necklace.

Kajol: Yummy mummy Kajol picked up a ruffled peach full sleeves Shantanu & Nikhil gown for the Screen Awards 2014.
Next Mrs Devgn was pretty in a printed Nandita Mahtani gown paired with Swarovski earrings and a Pinky Saraf clutch finished off her look.
Chitrangada Singh: 'Inkaar' actress Chitrangada Singh caught our attention in this classy white Dior gown with a black belt at the Screen Awards 2014. The actress let the gown do the talking, keeping her look simple with minimal jewellery and make-up.
Huma Qureshi: The 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actress also picked a Nikhil Thampi creation in a deep maroon colour with a mid-slit and matching sandals at the Screen Awards this year. Huma accessorised her look with side-swept hair and an Atelier Mon ear cuff.
The 'D-Day' actress next picked up a blue ruffled Gauri and Nainika gown for the other big award show.
Tanishaa: Former 'Bigg Boss' housemate Tanishaa is in the limelight nowadays post her stint in the reality show. The Bengali beauty was spotted in a red strapless gown at the Screen Awards 2014.
And she was gorgeous when she showed up at the Star Guild Awards in a cream and gold Payal Singhal lehenga. Flawless makeup, matching clutch and a side hair-do complimented her look.
Tanishaa was hot in a black gown at the third award show.
Neha Dhupia: Fashionista Neha Dhupia had us mesmerized in a pale coloured sheer Ranna Gill gown. Smoky eyes, a glitter cuff bracelet and a shimmery clutch made the whole look stand out.

Aditi Rao hydari: Aditi Rao Hydari is a new hit on the fashion scene and she impressed with a blue strapless Harsh Harsh gown. And her hairstyle was an ode to Audrey Hepburn.
Next she wore a Gaurav Gupta couture gown and had an updo with a beaded silver head-band and metallic silver sandals.

Sophie Choudry: Sophie Choudry picked a pink and black Manish Malhotra net sari with a rich gold border. Danglers and a black Bottega Veneta clutch rounded off her look.
The actress later blew us away when she turned up at a nominations bash in a printed Pankaj and Nidhi jacket over cropped black slim pants.

Shraddha Kapoor: 'Aashiqui 2' actress Shraddha Kapoor pleasantly surprised us in a silver shimmery Donna Karen Atelier gown at the Star Guild Awards. The actress had her hair styled in an elegant updo, red lips and carried a Judith Leiber clutch.
Vaani Kapoor: Another actress who showcased a Nikhil Thampi gown was none other than newcomer Vaani Kapoor. The 'Shuddh Desi Romance' actress was edgy in black cutout gown with a gold bottom. She added to her look with smokey eyes and Manish Arora for Amrapali jewellery.
Nimrat Kaur: 'The Lunchbox' actress Nimrat Kaur was a stunning in a shimmery blue gown by Amit GT at the Screen Awards 2014. The actress wore her hair in an updo and natural makeup, which allowed the dress to stand out.
The beauty once again impressed us with her gown choice at a nominations bash – Anand Kabra gown.
Sonali Bendre: The ever-beautiful Sonali Bendre was stunning in a blue Surily Goel gown with a gold belt and sleeves at the Screen Awards. The actress wore her hair to one side and finished off the look with a metallic clutch and peep-toes.
The actress next wore a Manish Malhotra gown at a nominations bash pairing it with a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Richa Chadda: 'Ram-Leela' actress Richa Chadda showed off her curves in an Innana by Monica & Karishma at the Screen Awards 2014. The maroon gown with black embellished work had a train at the back which somewhat added to the red carpet drama.
Next she wore a ruffled red Herve Léger for the Filmfares.

Shruti Haasan: Shruti Haasan chose a sheer floral embroidered gown by Gaurav Gupta for the Screen Awards 2014.
Shruti next picked a Gauri and Nainika gown that she paired with valliyan, which really stood out.
Divya Khosla Kumar: Newly turned director Divya Khosla Kumar was a beautiful sight in a sheer mint Sabyasachi lehenga at the Screen Awards. The 'Yaariyan' director carried a LovetoBag clutch and accesorised with jewellery from Anmol.
Divya once again won our approval when she attended the GiMA Awards in a striking red lace lehegna by the same designer.
For the recent award show, she picked Sabyasachi with kundan jewellery and a LovetoBag clutch.
Shazahn Padamsee: Actress Shazahn Padamsee was pretty in a simple dark blue cutout gown that worked well for her slender frame. The actress carried a shimmery clutch that complimented her metallic neckpiece. Side-swept waves and nude coloured peep-toes finished off her look.
The actress won our approval once again with her strapless white gown at a nominations bash. She carried a sparkly butterfly clutch and the organe lips added a super pop pf colour.
