Not many know, that before making his Bollywood acting debut, Arjun Kapoor worked as an assistant director on Nikhil Advani's 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' and 'Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love'. He also gained experience as an associate producer on his father Boney Kapoor’s productions including ‘No Entry’ and 'Wanted'.
It was later that Arjun signed a three-film acting deal with Yash Raj Films. He made his debut with romantic crime drama 'Ishaqzaade' opposite the fiery Parineeti Chopra. Arjun Kapoor received immense praise for his portrayal of Parma in the film. He also garnered a huge female fan following, thanks to his bad-boy attitude in the film.
After the success of 'Ishaqzaade', Arjun then appeared in Atul Sabharwal's action thriller 'Aurangzeb' along with Prithviraj, Sasha Agha and Rishi Kapoor.
