altaf-hussain-1 Altaf Hussain’s sudden reappearance has put to rest rumours surrounding his health that suggested he was bedridden and was unable to walk.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain made a rare public appearance on Friday to celebrate the party’s 32nd foundation anniversary at his London office. Altaf, in a video posted on Facebook by a party supporter, can be seen enthusiastically shaking his fists in a mild celebratory dance as supporters chanted in the background. His sudden reappearance has put to rest rumours surrounding his health that suggested he was bedridden and unable to walk.

News of his return comes in the midst of a breakaway faction led by former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal seeking to establish a stronghold in Karachi. Altaf has been living under a self-imposed exile in United Kingdom since 1992 after an arrest warrant was issued against him in a murder case in Pakistan. His party represents the Muhajir community, who moved from India to Pakistan post partition in 1947.

This is a hard blow to MK, SK and others who were claiming for his poor health and talking about all day happy hours. They should have come with their own manifesto instead of building on baseless issues. We need a better stan, not "you scratch my back and i scratch your back"

The theory of state based on religion is a failure. The uprooted Muslims from UP and Bihar were never welcome in stan. Muhazir were treated as second cl citizen. On the contrary the Punjabi refugees were integrated into India successfully because they settled into same culture in around Punjab and Delhi. So people who think stan or Islamic state will welcome them or help them is living in fools paradise. The solution of Islam needs unique India based local solution.

Given his malignant obesity he is certainly in poor health. Poor role model for sure.
