Paris prosecutor Francois Molins has said that all eight of the attackers in Friday night’s coordinated, deadly assaults wore identical explosives vests with the explosive TATP, which has been called the “mother of Satan” because of its volatility.

TATP, or triacetone triperoxide, is an improvised explosive that also was used in the 2005 London bombings that killed 52 commuters.

The US government’s National Counterterrorism Center lists TATP as a common explosive and describes it as “relatively easy to synthesize.” Experts have said that tracing the materials used to make the explosive can be difficult because they are so readily available in stores.

The counterterrorism center’s website describes the explosive as a mixture of “hydrogen peroxide and acetone with the addition of an acid, such as sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acid.”

It says TATP “can be very unstable and sensitive to heat, shock, and friction.”

The explosive also was used by Richard Reid, who tried unsuccessfully to detonate a bomb in his shoe during a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001.

All eight of the Paris attackers died, seven in suicide bombings.

Three suicide bombs targeted spots around the Stade de France stadium, where French President Francois Hollande was watching a France-Germany soccer match. Another attacker detonated a suicide bomb on Boulevard Voltaire, near the Bataclan music hall where dozens of people were killed by gunmen, the prosecutor’s office said.

And as police closed in on the music hall, three attackers detonated explosive belts, killing themselves, according to Paris police chief Michel Cadot.

Remember, when you are a terrorist mentality, accuse others of doing or copying what you yourself do. Always point at the other person to blame for YOUR actions. Seems to me this suicide bomber problem is almost self solving. Sure saves us money on prosecuting these dogs. The next step is easy. Determine the imams and mullahs driving this and strap one of these bombs on them as punishment and turn them loose in a pig pen.

There are probably other bomb formulas that are equally devastating and can be made from products sold in grocery and hardware stores. As for the explosive mentioned in the article, the average serious terrorist or other kook could certainly find the formula online. The big problem, as I see it, is that radical anti-Islamists which there appear to several millions of if you look at online comments internationally, will now -- or soon -- use similar violence against Syrian and other refugees, if for no other reason than they hate Muslims. Alaso be warned that there are a substantial number of serious mental cases out there without any religion who just have a hate on for any of many different groups or mankind in general, and are willing to kill them and now that they know they will get extensive press coverage if they succed, die just for the publicity.
