US President Barack Obama urged Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to “stop whining” about the Nov. 8 election being rigged, saying no serious person could suggest U.S. elections could be manipulated because of their decentralized nature.

“I have never seen in my lifetime, or in modern political history, any presidential candidate trying to discredit the elections and the election process before votes have even taken place. It’s unprecedented,” the Democratic president said.

“I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining, and go try to make his case to get votes,” Obama said at a joint White House news conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

I believe Obama has lowered the status of the Presidential office by campaigning for Hillary Clinton. A President should be above politics and stay out of national elections. Having said that I believe in this instance he is right in telling Trump to stop whining about the fairness of election.

elections in US are conducted and overseen by local government bodies (counties). More than half t country is controlled by Republicans. So Democrats cannot rig elections. Trump sees defeat in the elections and so he is trying to delegitimise the results and the winner as he did with President Obama by claiming that he is not a US born citizen. He is just a s loser.

Failed US policy responsible for all this. US sanctions on Russia and low oil prices forced Putin to kneel down to Xi. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;US spent over $30bn in Coalition Support Funds (CSF) to stan. Why send $$ which will be used against US forces in Afghan?lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;US should accommodate Russian interests; use Tajik, Uzbek and Turkmenistan as transit. Modi needs to send this message to Americans. Vested interests will not allow this. Esp in State Department.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;Time for policy change in USA.
