Pakistan to deepen ties with Sri Lanka

A 27-member delegation of the Sri Lankan Army is travelling to Lahore to take part in an international competition this month.

Pakistan said on Monday that it attaches great importance to its relationship with Sri Lanka. A 27-member delegation of the Sri Lankan Army met the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Colombo, Major General (retired) Syed Shakeel Hussain.

The delegation is travelling to Lahore to take part in an international competition this month. Addressing the delegation, the High Commissioner highlighted that Pakistan and Sri Lanka have consistently maintained close, cordial and mutually supportive relations at all levels.
