The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has backed Pakistan and called on India to immediately cease ‘atrocities’ in Kashmir and peacefully settle the issue in accordance with wishes of Kashmiri people and the UNSC resolutions.

OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani Monday expressed concern over the situation in Kashmir and called for an immediate cessation of atrocities by India, urging the Indian government for peaceful settlement of the dispute ‘in accordance with wishes of Kashmiri people and the UNSC resolutions’.

Expressing their solidarity with the Kashmiri people, the OIC group “reaffirmed their resolve to remain the voice of the Kashmiris’ at the international stage.”

Madani’s remarks came after Pakistan Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz addressed a meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir.

Aziz referred to the killing of ‘youth leader’ Burhan Wani and the use of pellet guns by Indian forces against Kashmiri protesters following his death.

Wani was killed by security forces on July 8.

Aziz said such measures cannot break the spirit of the Kashmiri people and their legitimate struggle for self-determination.

“Underscoring that the Kashmir dispute remains central to lasting peace and stability in South Asia, the Adviser regretted that India had failed to reciprocate Pakistan’s proposal of meaningful engagement for the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute,” according to a statement by the OIC contact group.

Indians love to delude themselves by believing they wishful thoughts instead of their reality. From the top Indian official down to the common man (among the upper cast hindus, minorities are treated worse than cows) they are so lost in the bolywood fantasy world that it created to fool others and apparently is happy with it. A recent survey ranked India the second most ignorant nation in the world, based on how much they know about where their country stands, and Indians overestimated everything about India. I imagine the wake up call is going to hit them like a 'chittar' and that wake up call seems to be very close.

Whatever you do, whatever you plan, but Kashmir will always be a part of India no matter what we have to do for that. It's our mother india's head we cannot give it to anyone. Also, first extinguish fire in your own homes. Baluchistan is also under human rights violation. Fools in OIC should talk about it if they have so much compion and mercy for humanity. It will be a world war to hold Kashmir remember that. Don't see the peaceful instance of India as a weakness. Just try to get it by force then you will come to know what it means.
