Hindus are the most highly educated religious group in the United States of America, says a study. According to a study conducted by the Pew Research Center based in US and published in the Wall Street Journal, nearly 77 per cent of American Hindus are said to have a college degree as compared with an average of 27 per cent for all adults in US.

Unitarian Universalists, according to the poll, were second most likely to have a college degree at 67 per cent followed by Jews at 59 per cent. Approximately 29 per cent Christians had degrees while 25 per cent of unaffiliated groups such as agnostics, atheists etc had college degrees.

Interestingly, the poll says, 48 per cent of Hindus are most likely to have a postgraduate degree, followed by 31 per cent of Jews, 11 per cent of unaffiliated groups and 9 per cent of Christians. From the findings, the poll also deduces that American Hindus tend to have higher incomes, with roughly 43 per cent earning USD $100,000 or more, as against only 16 per cent of Christians and 21 per cent of unaffiliated groups.

This is not a good comparison. Indians who move to USA are educated as that is the commonly used path available to Indians to migrate to USA. Till recently India was considered close to Russia so there were number of restrictions including quota which was very low compared to potion of India.

They need to come back and work for India, to save India. Dislodging Feku gang should be the # 1 priority, followed by tackling neck-deep corruption and debilitating incompetence.

How minorities are being treated by Hindu right wing? 4 instances in 2 years that too by citizens bloated up by the media. This is why minorities in India never grow-up fed by left-winf agenda. Sit back and think. Is the govt. really responsible or these 4 instances can be caused by a person from any community. Kerela Muslims and Communists are very radical. In UP, Bengal Hindu/Muslims fight always since independence. So this communalisation is not born today, it was there since late 1890s and peaked in 1940s (prime reason - MA Jinnah and the Muslim League with radical Muslims, not the moderate and liberal ones like Maulana Abul Azad)

The commies will be asking, "How dare the HIndus are most educated? Is there any caste system? Why all the Hindus are not going for postgraduate degree? So there is some discrimination in the name of caste - ev_il Hindus.. lt;br/gt;In spite of all the high praise for Hindus, it is extremely difficult to get green card or citizenship for Hindus. Where as a Muslim from a Muslim countries even without any college degrees will get green card than a Hindu with doctoral degree from India.

We would not have a Srinivas Ramanujan, the genius, without going out of India. Hindus living outside should be more vocal on issues related to India, and to Hindus in countries like Islamic stan and Bangladesh. They should become powerful lobbys in their their countries.

Believe me, Hindus who went to work abroad know the difference, both positive and negative, between India and their host country... Culturally, NRIs love India as their ROOT, the Mother of their Souls. But they know how NEGATIVE government and officials in India were under One Party Rule of over Fifty years. They know the forces that were manufactured by the Vote Bank brokers that were against MERIT and COMMON SENSE. Premier Modi and BJP have very high support among NRIs, because they know the difference.

You may not be right about that level of discrimination in the USA. When economy was going well, Green Cards were easy. You must not forget the 3 or 4 Million Hindus got that card and most citizenship as well. Finally, for the USA, they must see the benefit in giving out 'Green Card', for their country. Where they doubt that benefit, no green card. They do not work like India, which gives 'Ration Card' to millions of B'deshi infiltrators, without any reason.

But you don't know to sneak in as asylum seekers, fatten yourself and your extended family on state-benefits from local taxpayers, breed yet further like rabbits, get "radicalized" and be involved in some terror plot, but yet have the community numbers to swing elections during vote....that is where the goody-goody Hindus lose out!

We should be proud that we are always an et to any country we go to. We only need permission to enter, rest we take care ourselves. We never become a liability to the local Government and always become an inclusive part of society.
