US President Barack Obama got a video tribute, before his speech endorsing Hillary Clinton as the Presidential nominee, at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday. Before the president took stage, a 10-minute long video played out his struggles and achievements through his two-term presidency that ends January 2017. The video recalled the difficult decisions under which Barack Obama assumed office in 2008, as US faced multiple crises including the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

The video narrated by Breaking Bad star Bryan Lee Cranston highlights Obama’s achievements and challenges as he struggled to support a bailout of the US auto industry and pressed for the Affordable Care Act as in the face of political concerns that he might not win re-election.

Highlighting the importance and responsibility that being the President of the United States of America entails, the video depicts the events that led up to the encounter of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden where President Obama had to take a difficult decision that could have cost him his entire political career.

The video also explores Obama’s emotional reaction to the massacre at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012 as the President’s frustration over the Congress’ refusal to pass more strict gun control rules in the country continues.
