US President Barack Obama made no bones about the fact that Republican White House hopeful Donald Trump would not be elected.

Although Obama criticised the entire GOP field of candidates, he pointedly hit out at Trump for his troubling statements.

Here is what he said about the Republican presidential candidate:

1. I continue to believe that Mr Trump will not be president. And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people. And I think they recognize that being president is a serious job.

2. It’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show. It’s not promotion. It’s not marketing. It’s hard.

3. It’s not a matter of pandering and doing whatever will get you in the news on a given day. And sometimes it requires you making hard decisions, even when people don’t like it.

4. During primaries, people vent and they express themselves. Oftentimes it’s reported just like entertainment, but as you get closer, the reality has a way of intruding.

5. The American people are pretty sensible. And I think they’ll make a sensible choice in the end.

Obama ought to know about chasing celebrities, trying to be on tv talk shows and golfing as America gets news of our dead in Libya. He is so clless that he doesn't even wear a tie to speak of Scalia's death. He's a lout and small minded, insecure man.

This statement made by President Obama will be now be used Trump. It will now work to Trump's advantage, particularly in making his case during the upcoming primaries, taking into account that Republican party supporters hold Obama in absolute contempt.
