Earthquake of 6.9 magnitude hits Sulawesi island in Indonesia

An earthquake 6.9 magnitude struck an area 130 kilometres southeast of the Indonesian city of Palu on the island of Sulawesi, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Monday. The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics said there was no threat of a tsunami following the quake.
