Cancellation of Foreign Secretary-level talks: Pak says it is ‘not subservient’ to India

The High Commissioner of Pakistan did not interfere in India's internal affairs.

Pakistan is not subservient to India. Pakistan is not subservient to India.

A day after India cancelled Foreign Secretary-level talks over Pakistani envoy’s meeting with Kashmiri separatists, Pakistan on Tuesday  reacted strongly saying it was “not subservient” to New Delhi and was a “legitimate stakeholder” in the Kashmir dispute.

Arguing that High Commissioner Abdul Basit did not interfere in India’s internal affairs, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam claimed that Kashmir was not part of India.

“That is just a pretext. It was not the first time that meetings with Hurriyat leaders took place. It is been happening for decades,” Tasnim said.

She was replying to Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh telling Basit to not to go ahead with the meeting in New Delhi and to choose between dialogue with India or with the Kashmiri separatists.

“The High Commissioner of Pakistan did not interfere in India’s internal affairs. Pakistan is not subservient to India. It is a sovereign country, a legitimate stakeholder in the Jammu and Kashmir dispute,” she said. Aslam, who has previously served in India, asserted that “Kashmir is not part of India”.

“It is a disputed territory. There are numerous UN resolutions,” she said. Pakistan on Monday had described the cancellation of next week’s Foreign Secretary-level talks as a “setback” to Indo-Pak ties.

The remarks came after India called off talks between Foreign Secretaries of the two countries scheduled to be held in Islamabad on August 25, telling Pakistan bluntly to choose between an Indo-Pak dialogue or hobnobbing with the separatists.

India cancelled the talks, raising strong objections to consultations held with separatist Hurriyat leaders by Pakistan’s High Commissioner.

There is a standard argument by stan diplomats and Kashmir separatists that the meetings of separatists with Pak envoy or even with Indian leaders is not new. It has been happening for decades and why stop now. Agreed. Kashmir separatists have been talking to Pak Envoys, diplomats or even Pak PMs and to Indian PMs and leaders for decades - what was the result? ZERO. So why tread the same line? Stop this non-sense of allowing Kashmir Separatists to talk as they do not represent people of Kashmir. Modi took a right decision by cancelling the talks by foreign secretaries of both the country. Next step must be Indo-Pak talks will not have any agenda on Kashmir. stan must be told very clearly that no more talks on Kashmir. If at all there is going to be talk on Kashmir - stan can discuss about when they will leave the PoK and how. Whether peacefully or face a war.

The decision to cancel the Foreign Secretaries by the Modi Govt, it is one of the best decision. As stan admit that earlier also the talks with the Hurriyat took place before any high level discussion between New Delhi & Islamabad. The previous UPA govt did not take this thing seriously. Now Modi govt has send the stern message to the Pak Govt that Indian present Govt is not fool and will not sit quite and allow them do anything regarding about the Kashmir. No more talks should be there between Pak & India regarding with Kashmir. Rather we should tell Pak to return the Pok or either history will repeat itself. The wrongdoings of earlier UPA Govt now the Modi Govt is facing. If Pak is thinking that they can say anything, we should be ready to teach them lesson. Moreover the Pak govt. think that be as Muslim nation, the Indian Muslim will also take the Pak side. They are in wrong conception. Why Pak is so much interested in Kashmir when they have so much problem in their own country.?They depend on China & USA for everything. India should cut all the diplomatic ties with Pak Govt, stop the Bus service and train service. Now India should tel the w world that how is Pak is playing double standard game everytime. Although Pak is exposed in the international community.

stan is devoid of any credibility (denial of use of its army in 1948and 1999 against India, and nuclear proliferation of 90’s), ideny of her own, honor, and positive history, heroes (all perers of natives India where theylive now), and culture or value system. It is a nation inhabited by millions of terrorists bred in thousands ofMadarasa, master manitors, cheats (10% Zardari as President, match fixingexperts, killers of coach, fibbing financial records and expense bills to grabmore money from WB and USA), liars (hiding OBL, supporting Afghan Talibanagainst USA and involvement of regular army in 1948 and 1999 wars with Indiaand playing double game with USA since 2002), nuclear proliferators,blood-money thirsty army (Killing of 3 MILLION fellow citizens and gang rapesof more than 300,000 females in 1971 Bangladesh war.stan has been collecting BLOOD MONEY (for killing its own citizens)equivalent to stani Rupees ONE Billion per day ($ 3.5 Billion/YR) fromUSA/West to fight so-called war against anti-stan terrorists whilesheltering and arming anti-USA and anti-India terrorists) , charlatans andepicenter of the world terrorism. It is basically a nation that is confused about its ideny, heritage (Arab orIndian) cultural (Islamic or local) values, anti-non-Muslim (Hindus,Ahmadia/Quadiyani Sikhs) religious-sectarian(Deobandi/Wahabi/fi/Barelvi/Sufi), politics, and of course state-sponsoredterrorism.Madeline Albright rightly declared that, “stan is an internationalmigraine”. It is a failed and failing state, both internally where corruption, feudalism, and slavery are kept alive by the ruling cles with the help ofrogue army, and externally where it has the respect of no border states.

The only way this non-sense will stop is when a good number of non muslims from all over India move to Jammu, and Kashmir and settle down there. True there are not enough job opportunities, but for retires it should not matter. The present potion is 70% Muslim. Until this potion imbalance is addressed there will always be stan's meddling. There has been an ASAD KASHMIR - part of present day stan for those muslims who want a free Kashmir.
