If there ever was list on the heads of states that have nailed it on social media, there would be no contest for the top spot, which would go to the US President Barack Obama. POTUS has been an Internet favourite from the beginning of his presidency, and continues to rule even after four years.
So, it wasn’t really suprising when a video of Barack Obama and the US first family serving a meal at the White House should come up on social media during the month of Ramzan, it was thought to be an Iftar dinner at the presidential house. So much so, that ever since the video was uploaded on Facebook on July 1, it has already garnered over 350 million views in less than 72 hours, with thousands of shares. However, the video was not of an Iftar party, as suggested in the title, but of an old event at the White House.
