A Pakistani channel reported that Donald Trump is from Pakistan A Pakistani channel reported that Donald Trump is from Pakistan

As bizarre as it may sound, this report from Pakistani news channel Neo News actually ran a story stating that US President-elect Donald Trump is from Pakistan. Though the report said that it’s not them but people on social media who are saying this, the fact that it was even considered seems unfathomable.

In a video clip from the show that’s going viral, the anchor narrates the whole story of Trump being born in Pakistan and how he reached the United States. The report is from last month when Trump was still the Republican candidate. Believe it or not, the reporter said, “Presidential candidate Donald Trump was born in Pakistan and not in America”.

And wait till you hear the story. The channel has the ‘real’ name of Trump and the place he was born in. The attribution came much later in the report. The report based on comments on social media said that the President-elect was born as Dawood Ibrahim Khan in Waziristan in 1954 where he also received his primary education. Later, he lost his parents in a road accident after which British Indian Army Captain took Dawood to London. The Trump family finally adopted him in 1955 and brought him to America. Adding to that, the channel also showed his childhood pictures!
