The job of a police officer is not easy. They put their life at risk on numerous occasion to make sure others are safe. Dealing with criminals and thugs is one thing, but when you receive an emergency call to tackle an anaconda, it changes the equation altogether.
Yes, forces of Leon County in Florida were called to rescue a snake, but when they reached there they found a huge 9ft loon yellow anaconda camouflaged on the ground. Thankfully detective Emily Shaw was there to save the day. In a nail-biting operation, she single-handedly got hold of the deadly snake’s tail and put it into a bag. But with no equipment at all.
The scary footage was shared by the Sherrif’s office to raise awareness as the cops believe the exotic snake must have been someone’s “pet.” Asking people to be “responsible,” they wrote on Facebook, “Make sure their cages are completely secure and if you decide you no longer want it, DO NOT release it into the wild. Instead, contact Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.”
