A video of a lion walking through an inhabited stretch in Junagadh district in Gujarat is making the rounds of social media. In the video taken from a mobile phone, two lions are seen walking through an unlit path. One of the lions is far ahead and moves out of the sight within a few seconds into the video. The other, continues to walk unperturbed by its surrounding. The exact location has not been determined though.

With Junagadh lying in close vicinity of the Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for Asiatic lions, such incidents are not uncommon.

This is not the first time a lion has roamed freely into a human settlement. Earlier this year in July, a pride of lions and cubs were captured in a video venturing into Junagadh district in the late hours of night.
