Karva Chauth is a one-day festival celebrated by Hindu women all across the world. On this day women are supposed to fast from sunrise and moonrise and pray for the safety and well being of their husbands. Though the festival has traditionally been the bastion of women, over the years it has undergone a lot of change. Instead of being a mute spectator, men too have started participating in the festival and some fast along with their wives. However this is one of the many narratives of the festival.
