In this beautiful heart-warming video, that was widely shared on the social media circuit, there’s a place is Seattle, US, that is bringing pre-schools and old-age homes together.

According to the video, 43% of older adults experience social isolation, which is closely related with loneliness and depression, as well as mental and physical decline. Many elderly become lonely when they move into nursing homes. That’s where the Intergenerational Learning Center at the Mount is trying to change things for the betterment of the elderly and the young, says an article.

A film-maker at Present Perfect captured the interaction between children and the elderly at the centre, and how they effortlessly bonded with each other. The idea also addresses the growing disconnect between generations in today’s society, and how the elderly provide that comforting support to the kids, and the toddlers — on the other hand — brighten up their day with their smiles.

Watch this uplifting and inspiring video.
