Be it a fun video on Snapchat with his wife Michelle or announcing his future plans (again, in a viral video) or his mic drop stunt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Barack Obama has been setting the Internet on fire with his oozing swag, as if to leave an imprint on masses the world over to remember him as a president one will always miss.
As he finishes his 8 years in office, he ‘slow-jammed the news’ of his tenure with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show where he literally jammed about all the significant measures he has taken as POTUS including the fallen unemployment rate, legalization of gay marriage, Obama Care and the list goes on.
“In short, climate change is real, health care is affordable, and love is love,” he said.
He gently endorsed Hillary Clinton, his successor if she wins and took a dig at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with a joke “Orange is not the new black”.
Television host Jimmy Fallon was at his usual best with his side commentary. “Oh yeah, President Obama stimulated long-term growth, in both the public and private sector. In 2008, the country wasn’t feeling in the mood, it was too tired and stressed, said it had a headache. Barack lit some candles and got some silky satin sheets and told the American people ‘yes, we can,’” he sang.
This is not the first time President Obama has made an appearance on The Tonight Show. He came on the show, in 2012 when he was to re-appear for election, with a rather serious face unlike this time.
