Angry elephants charge at biker in Thailand’s National Park

What prompted the elephants to attack were speeding bikes that ran past them while they were walking peacefully.

In Khao Yai National Park in Thailand, a herd of elephants attacked a biker while he was crossing the main road of the park on Sunday, October 18. Reportedly, the man is safe.

What prompted the elephants to attack were speeding bikes that ran past them while they were walking peacefully. The elephants started chasing them and the biker turned around scared. However, on his way back, he encountered a number of elephants who attacked him. “The matriarch of the herd, already alerted by the melee around the bend spotted the small bike coming around the bend and attacked other elephants joined in as well,” reported Khao Yai News.

The video of the attack was uploaded on YouTube and has been doing the rounds on social media. It has already garnered over 3 million views.
